Design and Pre-press Services
Alltrade can offer a full graphic design facility. From taking a client's initial brief and interpreting it to produce imaginative and creative solutions. A real advantage is our experience and technical expertise not just coming up with pretty graphics, but a thorough understanding of what works best in print! From a leaflet to a multi page full colour glossy catalogue, we can turn a simple sketch into attention grabbing literature. We can produce agency quality original artwork that will project the right message to your target audience.
We have a comprehensive range of software applications on both Apple Macintosh and PC formats. We also have full in-position software for accurate planning of jobs.
If artwork is supplied by the client, we will carry out thorough pre-press checks to ensure any problems are corrected and run a digital colour proof and request approval of the in-position proof prior to print at no extra charge to the client. Match-print proofs or wet-proofs (proofing on the press) may also be run at an additional cost.
Digital Printing
On-demand printing has truly arrived! Today's technology allows you to get your jobs printed (at conventional lithographic quality) faster and cheaper. Alltrade Digital was started in 2002 to provide greater flexibility for shorter run and fast turnaround jobs. We have the latest hi-tech digital print devices for colour and black and white digital printing up to A3 size, onto most popular stock weights and finishes - booklet making, collating, stapling etc.
We are also able to digitally produce large format printing on our HP Large Format Poster Colourprinter, which can print up to A0 size.

Litho Printing
Alltrade Printers began printing in 1983 on the classic Heidelberg GTO 46. We have always believed in investing in the latest Heidelberg technology and every few years the print equipment is upgraded to keep abreast of latest features and industrial advancements. Currently we are printing on B1 5 colour, B2 5 colour and B2 2 colour perfecting Heidelberg presses. All are kept in immaculate condition to produce the quality of work that we believe is the hallmark of Alltrade Printers.
From a leaflet through to a glossy book we have the presses, skills and the capacity to meet your needs. We run a split shift to enable longer running time and give greater production capacity.

Finishing
Alltrade has always believed that state-of-the-art finishing equipment is vital if the job is not to be let down in the final stages. We have therefore invested heavily in folding and stapling machines, collators, guillotines etc, to be able to provide a host of finishing services to our clients. We plan to further update some of the equipment in our finishing department in the coming months.
A professional, experienced and dedicated team are a great asset to help get work out on time and to a required level of finish.

Other Services
We also cater for additional specialist print requirements such as scanning, archiving, diamond screening, gloss UV varnishing, matt laminating, binding (thermal/perfect/fastback), die-cutting etc.
We are also able to provide print management services; let us take the headache of managing and distributing your print stock. If you are a large volume printed matter user with multiple sites we can keep your head office costs down by letting us hold your print items 'in stock'.
